Theory & practice of artificial intelligence
The seminar provides participants with an overview of the use of artificial intelligence in companies. The AI experts at IPH impart knowledge in the following areas:
Module 1: Fundamentals and possible applications of AI
In this module, participants receive a sound introduction to the world of artificial intelligence. They learn what AI is, the technologies behind it and how AI is already being used in various industries and companies. Both the opportunities and risks associated with the use of AI are highlighted.
Module 2: AI Regulation and GDPR-compliant use of AI
The use of AI brings with it numerous legal challenges. In this module, participants learn about the most important legal requirements, including the EU's AI Regulation and data protection requirements in accordance with the GDPR.
Module 3: From the AI idea to application
The focus here is on application. Participants identify specific use cases for AI in their own company and develop initial project plans for implementation. Using best practices and case studies, they learn about the success factors and challenges. Technical as well as economic and ethical aspects are taken into account.
Module 4: AI project check - everything considered?
In order for employees in the company to be able to use AI successfully, the organizational structures must also be considered. In this module, participants learn which steps are necessary to implement their previously developed AI project plan. Using case studies of other AI projects, participants will gain knowledge about success and failure factors in the holistic implementation of AI projects.
